Artwork & File Guide
How to prepare print-ready files for your acrylic product projects.
This guide explains how to prepare artwork and files for custom acrylic products at EVER GREATER. Follow these specifications to ensure smooth sampling, accurate colours and clean details on your final pieces.
Accepted File Formats
Preferred (for logos, text, line work):
AI, EPS, vector PDF
Supported (for images and illustrations):
PNG, JPG, PSD
Guidelines:
Logos and key graphics should be vector whenever possible
Images should be at least 300 dpi at final size
Avoid screenshots and low-resolution web images
Size, Lines & Safe Area
To ensure good production results:
Prepare artwork at 1:1 scale in mm or cm (or clearly state the scale if reduced)
Recommended minimum line thickness:
Print: 0.2–0.3 mm
Engraving: 0.15–0.2 mm
Keep important content (logos, text) at least 3–5 mm inside the finished edge or drilled holes
If you are unsure about legibility at a given size, we can review and advise.
Colour & Text
Colour:
Use CMYK for print-oriented artwork
Provide Pantone codes when available
If your design was created in RGB, share both RGB and CMYK values as a reference
Text & fonts:
Convert all text to outlines before sending final files
If you cannot outline text, include the font files in a separate folder
Avoid very thin fonts for small text or engraved details
Layers, Cut Lines & Effects
To help us understand how to produce each part of your design:
Use separate layers or clearly labelled colours for:
Cut lines
Engrave areas
Print areas
Mark any transparent / knock-out areas (where the material should show through)
If your design uses gradients or transparency, consider a sample before full production, as appearance can vary with material and lighting
We will confirm exact layer or colour conventions when we share templates with you.
Templates & File Delivery
Templates:
For common product types (such as logo lights, door signs, desk organizers and small displays), we can provide simple AI/PDF templates with:
Recommended logo areas
Safe margins and overall sizes
Basic notes for cut and print zones
Ask your account manager for the correct template for your project.
File naming & upload:
Example file name:
Brand_Project_Product_Size_Version.aie.g.
ABC_OfficeSign_Door_150x200_v2.ai
Package artwork, fonts (if needed) and a small JPG/PDF preview in one ZIP file
Send via email (small files) or cloud link (Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)
